Year of Fulfillment
In 2023, God will fulfill His promises in the lives of the righteous of the Lord. His righteous will experience the unusual favor and grace of the Lord. God will shower His mercies upon them. He will neither change His plan for them nor take away His blessings from them, no matter what happens in their lives.
Though he [a good man] fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. (Psalm 37:24)
“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” (Malachi 3:17)
The favor of the Lord will be so unusual that even when His righteous sin, He will not forsake them and continue to speak with them. Even if they may have sinned last night, He will share His heart with them, or give them a new Word next morning.
This favor and grace of the Lord will empower the righteous to renounce their sin and cling to God again. They will surprise the righteous who have already experienced the favor and grace of the Lord before. But 2023 will show the righteous a new level of favor and grace from the Lord that will surprise them.
Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (Ephesians 2:5)
The righteous of the Lord will fall seven times but rise up again. They will keep rising, even though they may fall. They will not lie down dead.
For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. (Proverbs 24:16)
The righteous of the Lord will not be defeated forever, although they may have been defeated. They may fall, rise again…fall, rise again…fall, rise again seven or more times, but there will come a time when they will rise forever. Never will they fall again.
Yet the righteous will hold to his way, and he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger. (Job 17:9)
The Lord will perfect the righteous and bring a new beginning in their lives. He will fulfill and complete what He started in them. He will align them to His plan, although there may be some detours. But when they are aligned, then there’s no stopping them. God will fulfill His plan in their lives.
The Lord says, “I Am going to fulfill My promises in 2023. I Am going to complete what couldn’t be completed before. I will complete the good work I started in the righteous of the Lord. Even though they sin, they will remain My chosen ones and I will remain their God.”
“They may fall seven times, but I will lift them up again. I will reorder their steps. I will realign them to My plan. They will be restored. Never again will I let them fall in that sin again. Even though they fall, they will keep coming back to Me, unlike the unrighteous who do not repent and do not heed their conscience or the voice of the Holy Spirit and the conviction of sin He brings.”
2023 is a year where the prophecies of the Lord will be fulfilled in the lives of the righteous. Some part of the Scripture will also be fulfilled this year; and it has already started to fulfill. The wait is over for the righteous. What God has promised will come to pass this year.
The Lord is ready to perform His Word.
Moreover the Word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” (Jeremiah 1:11)
Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I Am ready to perform My Word.” (Jeremiah 1:12)
An almond tree can take as long as up to 12 years to start producing almonds. It signifies the fulfillment of time and that the long wait to see the fruit grow to its fullness is over. 11 is the number of the last hour and a long wait.
But 12 is the number of fulfillment, completion, establishment, and even marriage. It is also the number of the first hour. God’s children will see the new thing starting to happen in their lives. They will enter a new dawn in 2023.
