Everybody will call the righteous blessed in 2024 because the Lord will make them a delightful land according to Malachi 3:12:
“And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord of hosts.
Not keeping God’s ordinances is what keeps us away from Him and Him away from us.
“Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today,
(Deuteronomy 8:11)
If we truly love God, we will keep His commandments and the love of God will be perfected in us.
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
(1 John 2:3-6)
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
(1 John 5:3)
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
(1 John 3:24)
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
(1 John 4:12-13)
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
(1 John 4:16)
Humans have a language of love. For God, the language of love is keeping His commandments. If you’re obedient to God, He considers it as your love for Him. Simply saying “I love you” to God doesn’t really mean you love Him. It’s only when you follow God’s commandments that He believes you truly love Him.
This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
(2 John 1:6)
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
(1 John 5:2)
Returning to the Lord is keeping His ordinances.
Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’
(Malachi 3:7)
When we return to God, He returns to us. But if we have returned to God, why does He need to return to us? It’s not enough to be in Christ. Do you have Christ in you? That’s why the Bible says, we are in Christ and Christ in us, and Christ is in the Father and the Father in Christ.
Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
(John 14:11)
God wants to have a spiritually intimate (close) relationship with you. When God created Adam, He had already placed Eve inside Adam. Also, in the first part of the below verse, God addresses Adam “he” and in the later part God addresses Adam “them” because Eve was present in Adam.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
(Genesis 1:27)
Note that the below verse comes before the creation of Eve.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
(Genesis 2:7)
Note that the below verse comes after the creation of Adam.
Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
(Genesis 2:22)
It’s not enough to be with God. Is God inside you? Let Christ be revealed through you.
Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship between God and man. It’s about living the true “Christian” life and not about having a Christian name, having a Christian ancestry, or wearing a cross around your neck. The word Christian means follower of Christ. So, if you don’t follow Christ, you’re not a true Christian. And what does following Christ mean? Walking according to His Word and keeping His commandments.
