“Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of hosts.
(Malachi 3:1)
The more you hear about the coming of the Lord, the sooner He is going to come. The time of the coming of the Lord is not lengthening but becoming shorter. This is the time to prepare yourself for the coming of the Lord – be it the Rapture or the Second Coming of the Lord.
Having said that, you don’t want to stay on the earth after the Rapture because it’s not going to be a good life. Yes, people will be saved even after the Rapture; however, it will cost them a lot, it’s going to be painful, and it’s not going to be easy to get saved.
So, why take the risk? What if you don’t make it to Heaven after the Rapture? Now is the time for salvation, and that’s what the Bible says:
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
(2 Corinthians 6:2)
As you’re hearing the Word, the way of the Lord is being prepared. The Lord will send His messengers in 2024. The wise will hear and be saved. The foolish will not carry the oil and their lamps will be put out. The door will be closed for them. In Malachi 3:1, the coming of the Lord is mentioned 3 times. That’s 3 times in 1 verse. Are you going to take this lightly? The Word of God is a lamp to your feet.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
(Psalm 119:105)
God only accepts offerings when they’re given in righteousness. Only then do your offerings become pleasant to the Lord.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to the Lord, as in the days of old, as in former years.
(Malachi 3:3-4)
The Bible says Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
(1 Corinthians 1:30)
When you have Jesus in you, God makes your righteous, and the righteous will have the fear of God and walk in His ways.
And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers, against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, and against those who turn away an alien—because they do not fear Me,” says the Lord of hosts.
(Malachi 3:5)
Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’
(Malachi 3:7)
When you are righteous before God, having the fear of God and walking in His ways, God promises to protect your fruit and make you fruitful.
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts;
(Malachi 3:11)
Then nothing can stop you from going to the next level – in your finances, marriage, ministry, health, business, job, and every other area of your life. The Lord will keep away everything that stops your growth. He will not allow lack or loss to enter your life. He will pour out such a blessing for you that you will not have room enough to receive it.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
(Malachi 3:10)
Then you will become a delightful land that is made fruitful and blessed by God.
“And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord of hosts.
(Malachi 3:12)
God will make you His jewel and spare you of the coming judgement.
“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”
(Malachi 3:17)
All these blessings will be the Reward of the Righteous.
When this happens, it will be easy to discern between the righteous and the wicked, and God will make it so.
Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
(Malachi 3:18)
Righteousness is actually a service to God, and you who are righteous will be paid for your service by God. However, God doesn’t consider it as a service if it’s not done in righteousness. We need to serve God in righteousness. True service to God is the one done in righteousness.
