Marriage and Offspring
Marriage will be one of the most crucial decisions in the lives of God’s people in 2022. You may ask marriage has always been an important decision for God’s people, so what’s different about it this year? Well, a failed marriage or marrying outside the will of God will limit His people spiritually and cause them to miss the end-time revival and harvest. It will cost God’s people His glory that He wants to manifest through them in the last days.
1 Peter 3:7 – Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
Malachi 2:15-16 – …So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth. “For the LORD God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence,” says the LORD of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”
2 Corinthians 6:14 – Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
God wants His people to become perfect as He is.
Matthew 5:48 – Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” He also wants their marriage to become perfect.
Hebrews 13:4 – Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
Marriage is one of the areas that Satan targets most frequently. God’s people will be required to seek His will for their marriage even more in 2022. They will need to honor God with their decision-making, not just for marriage, even more this year. The knowledge of the world was and will never be enough to sustain marriage. God’s people will need the Word of God and make the Word the highest authority in their marriage to sustain it.
Psalm 127:1 – Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
You may have a different revelation about this verse, but the one I received tells me that ‘the house’ and ‘the city’ represent marriage. So, unless God builds and protects your marriage, all your efforts and investments in the area of marriage are a waste. God’s people will need to teach their children to pray for marriage right from their teen years.
Speaking of offspring, godly children will be a mighty blessing to God’s people in 2022.
Psalm 127:3 – Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Psalm 127:5 – Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
Children raised in the fear of God and knowledge of the Word of God will do greater works for the Lord than their righteous parents. Their spirits will grow stronger and achieve more for the Kingdom of Light than their godly parents. They will be victorious and their faces will not be put to shame.
Psalm 127:4 – Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.
God’s people will need to raise their children in a spiritually healthy environment, if they want God to use their children in the end-time revival.
Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
God will raise the spiritual standards as time passes by. Each generation will become mightier in the spirit, more anointed than the previous one.
But God wants His people to fulfill the responsibility of raising their children according to the instructions given in the Word and teaching them the ways of the Lord. Only then will they see their children progressing to a higher spiritual level that God wants to take them to.
Psalm 119:5-6 – O that my ways were directed to keep Thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all Thy commandments.
